Air Taxi's Aren't The Only Ones

With the airlines scrambling to find new dancing partners, those with interest in air travel are looking for a better solution than the hub and spoke system. Air taxi's seem to be filling the business travel gap, however, there are other approaches. One of those is the fractional ownership idea pioneered by NetJets.

I should probably clarify that a bit, fractional aircraft ownership has been around for quite some time, NetJets just applied that same logic very successfully to the private jet market. In that same field reports of expansion dot the landscape including companies like Plane Sense and FlexJet. These services offer dedicated aircraft, but you're paying for that support. Air taxi's are filling the gap from one side while these partial ownership solutions do the same from the other.
