Forecast Clear for VLJ's

Mark Fava over at Air Taxi Law points out a forecast for the business jet market that includes some interesting predictions. Among the highlights of the press release are predictions for increased production in 2008 and 2009 followed by a dip in production until 2012. I wonder if this report takes into account the current wall street woe's?

The release continues on to tease us about another "dynamic portion of the market" that they are attributing to VLJ's. Forecast International predicts that 5,600 VLJ's will be produced between 2008 and 2017, which looks to be good news for manufacturers. Especially with the recent faltering of air taxi pioneer DayJet. All this is great fodder for conversation but when it comes right down to it they're just educated guesses that you've got to pay for.
