Trip Report: Sport Aviation Expo

If you weren't in Sebring last weekend for the Sport Aviation Expo you missed out! It had a dizzying array of LSA models from powered parachutes to the next generation of GA training aircraft to luxury cross country machines. Read on for a preview of some of the articles you can look forward to seeing over the next couple days.

  • I got to spend quite a bit of time with Chris Regis of Paradise Aircraft and learn about the new P-1SP they built for Dylan Redd. Not only do I get to write about Dylan's experience with Paradise, I learned a lot of interesting facts about the company itself.
  • I also got to talk to David Gustafson of Remos Aircraft about their gorgeous G3 sucessor, the GX.
  • I spoke to the developers of the Gemini engine (an LSA engine that uses Jet A/Diesel.)
  • I got to make the trip in my plane, N5792C, and that is a story in and of itself...
  • I may even have news about a new LSA that you've probably never heard of

Thanks to Tina Gottus of Highlands Today for setting up our media credentials and all the volunteers at Sebring for their shuttle service and putting on a great show!
