Airventure Gone Soft?

So I stumbled onto an EAA Airventure facility blog update that almost knocked me off my chair... shaking the very foundation upon which my Airventure experience was built. The update read, and I quote, Flush toilets. I almost couldn't believe what I'd read. Gone are the hours spent searching for the one shaded Port 'o John. No more waiting behind the honey truck as it whisks away your beer from the night before. Vanished is the chemically scented aroma wafting past letting you know that the bank of plastic outhouses next to your campsite is now safe to enter.

To some this might come as a welcome change, but to me it signals the decline of the intestinal fortitude that built this great airshow. What would those pioneers of aviation think of us now? I for one shall continue to try and hold my breath while peeing and not succumb to the temptation of a sub ninety degree visit to the bathroom. Who's with me? Nobody?

Too bad there's only 4 locations...
