The User Fee Fight is Not Over Yet

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of hearing about user fees for general aviation. It's proven to be a bad idea in other countries and it would be a bad idea in the United States as well. Unfortunately though, the fight against user fees is not yet over.
The current administration is still under the mistaken impression that user fees are a good idea and is asking for them to be included in the next FAA reauthorization legislation. Thankfully, there is a strong group of congressmen who are reasonable and organized enough to push back. As reported by the AOPA, the leaders of the Aviation Subcomitee are circulating a letter to the President, asking for the signatures of other legislators. The letter is simple, straightforward and will hopefully help the President understand how to best support the freedom of aviation in the United States.
We can play a part in this. Please write your congressmen and senators and urge them to add their support by signing this letter. The more pressure they get, the better our chance of being heard and winning this fight once and for all. Let's take this opportunity to rid ourselves of user fees forever!
