118 Signatures on User Fees Letter

Not long ago, the Aviation Subcomitee started circulating a letter against GA User Fees for the White House. They hoped to gain widespread support and send a clear message to the President. Now, less than two weeks later, I'd say they've succeeded.

Reports from both AvWeb and the AOPA confirm that in total 118 members of congress signed the letter. The signers we fairly evenly split among the parties and hopefully this will help send a strong message to the President: User Fees are wrong and we don't want them.

A version of the letter with names and signatures is available here. If your representative's name is on it, take a minute to send your thanks. If not, take a minute to ask him or her some hard questions about why he or she is against GA. Maybe we can help a few more understand why GA is something we need to protect.
