I am a commercial pilot with SEL and Glider ratings. Since receiving my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering I took a ground job that pays the bills but I haven't given up my fascination with flying. I like tail draggers, big engines and aerobatic flight.

I bought an Aeronca Champ (7AC) in 2008 as part of a two person partnership and fly it every chance I get. I started flying as part of a club of glider instructors in college. After graduation I added my SEL and receintly my commercial rating.

I continue to fly gliders with Southern Eagles Soaring in Lagrange, GA or any plane someone is generous enough to let me hop into. I have been known to jump out of perfectly good airplanes as well with a parachute; mostly to prove I am not scared should my engine quit.
